Description
A short text conversation with the creator of the "Tiger Tail" zine back in October of 2025. I had heard in passing that they had a book in the Fisher Rare Book Library but I did not know more than that. I reached out to Phillip for more details and where to find information about it. Phillip replied by sending me a link to the U of T LibrarySearch Page and described how it was created as a final project for their OCAD MFA in Photography.
After graduating, the work was acquired by Art Metropole, an artist book store in Toronto. After this, Phillip was not privy to the conditions of sale to the Fisher and was unsure if the zine would be digitized for online access. The creator did clarify that Art Metropole created a cover and bound the book after it initially entered their inventory. Still, the creator expressed unease at what would happen to the single copy of the zine but felt that it was better preserved in the Fisher than their own collection.
