Description
A 194-page fan-produced magazine-format dōjinshi based on Yoichi Takahashi's Captain Tsubasa, created by the circle CLAMP, then a twelve-member dōjinshi group based in Osaka. Published in April 1988, one month before the conclusion of the original Captain Tsubasa manga serialization. The volume is structured as a fictional magazine, featuring an anthology of short comics, fanfiction, crossword puzzles, horoscopes, restaurant recommendations written as if by Captain Tsubasa characters, and advertisements for CLAMP's forthcoming original works RG Veda and Shoten. It was sold at doujin events in the Kansai region at a price of 1000 yen. CLAMP later transitioned to professional manga publishing and became internationally recognized for works including Cardcaptor Sakura and xxxHolic. This dōjinshi is now a rare collectible available through secondhand dealers such as Mandarake and Otaku Republic.
