This leaflet was created by the New York chapter of the Lesbian Avengers for the Lesbian Avengers' Civil Rights Organizing Project (LACROP) in 1993. Thousands of copies were distributed at rallies against the Christian Right, white nationalism, and transphobic and homophobic violence across the United States, and at the first Dyke March in New York in 1993. According to co-founder Kelly Cogswell, the leaflet and the Dyke Manifesto featured on it are anecdotally cited as the reason many Avengers joined the organization.
