Description

Club Penguin is a massively multiplayer online game (MMO) developed by New Horizon Interactive, which was later owned by The Walt Disney Company. It was created in 2005, offering a virtual environment in which players could interact with each other, socialize, and personalize their own space in the form of an avatar, such as penguins, as well as play mini-games.The existence of Club Penguin is solely dependent on the infrastructure of the game servers. The official servers of Club Penguin permanently shut down on March 29, 2017, which means that the game environment is no longer available. This is an item representing the game servers as a lost digital cultural artifact.
