Marcus Marci of Cronland, Athanasius Kircher, S. J., Wilfred M. Voynich, H. P. Kraus, Ethel Voynich, and (now) the Beinecke Library.
The manuscript is filled “with images of plants for which there are no readily identifiable botanical exemplars” (Yale University, 2016, p. 45).
