Antoninianus coin of Roman Emperor Aurelian

Description

A "Restitutor Orbis" coin of Roman Emperor Lucius Domitius Aurelianus (r. 270-275 CE). While minted as a "silver" coin, this specimen is silver-plated bronze.
Obverse ("heads") depicts a cuirassed bust of Aurelian, wearing a radiate crown, facing right. The legend reads:
IMP[ERATOR] C[AESAR] AVRELIANVS AVG[VSTVS] ("Emperor Caesar Aurelian Augustus").
Reverse ("tails") portrays a woman, left, handing a laurel wreath to the Emperor, right, holding a spear or sceptre. There is a star shape between the two figures, and the mint-mark "KA" beneath the image. The legend reads:
"RESTITVT[OR] OR • BIS" ("Restorer of the World").
